GeoBlue Trekker is Multi Trip Travel Medical Insurance plan available to U.S. citizens and residents that take frequent international trips excluding the U.S. For a fixed annual fee, you can be covered for any number of trips throughout the year; however, each trip must be limited to 70 days or less.
You can choose from two different coverage options. Both plans offer comprehensive coverage for many of the same benefits like outpatient benefits, inpatient benefits, ambulance, dental care, physical therapy, surgery and hospitalization; and both pay 100% to the policy maximum after the deductible.
Trekker Essential features a lower premium for basic comprehensive coverage with a $500,000 medical maximum. Trekker Choice has a higher premium for superior comprehensive coverage with a $1,000,000 medical maximum if the insured person is under age 70 and $100,000 if the insured person is between the ages of 70 to 95.
In order to be eligible for either GeoBlue Trekker plan, you must be enrolled in a primary health plan in your home country.
